Starting over…

Welcome to my new blog. With all the trouble I was having on my old one, I decided to make the move to a new host provider and a new blogging platform. With the move to a new host provider I had an option to register a new domain name for free so I went with this one. I figured it would be a nice clean slate to begin rambling about ecclesial dreams again. It has taken me some getting used to this new blogging platform but I am starting to get the hang of it now. And knowing in the wonderful world of rss aggregators few people will find my new blog gives me a feeling of starting from scratch. I feel like this blog is an opportunity for redemption–a new birth, so to speak.

Over the next few weeks there will be some changes as I work the bugs out of my template design but I am really looking forward to writing again. I have some interesting books in the queue that I will comment on and some thoughts rambling through my head about “church planting.” I will probably do all my blogging here from now on so if there is anyone who stubles across this site from the old knowtown blog and you want to follow along make sure to update your rss feed. And if you don’t mind, leave a comment and let me know what you think of the new blog.

  1. [...] This will most likely be my last post on this blog. I hope that there have been some who enjoyed it as much as I have. With all the problems I have had over the past week with my website and the Movable Type crashes I had to start over. In the process my rss feed changed and in the world of blogging that means this site is pretty much dead. Few people actually go to a website when their rss aggregator can do it for them. So I felt like it was an opportunity to be reborn. If anyone does stumble this way and would like to keep up with my new blog I would love for you to leave a comment there and let me know that you stopped by and what’s on your mind. [...]

Nice! I like the look. I’ve been tempted to go the WordPress route myself, but I get the sense that it’s not the most intuitive of systems. How was the switch?

Hi, James you don’t know me. I live in Boulder. I’ve seen you post before on Hirbinger. I’m prepareing to move out to Philly and perhaps be apart of the small christian community out there. Their vision and values resinate deeply with me and I’ve been searching and searching for a Christ Family. You live in Parker is that right? Any thing good out there?
